Mr. Lent is a campus card industry entrepreneur, pioneer and subject matter expert whose professional career has been dedicated to building businesses in this industry. He has focused, unique expertise in the stored value and transaction processing disciplines developed in 10 years of work in the campus card arena. His depth of knowledge of both the campus card and bank card transaction management and processing environments is a key asset of CardSmith.

Mr. Lent was responsible for architecting and managing SA Cash's core transaction infrastructure, developing and managing the university and merchant offer portfolio, and providing sales support. Prior to joining Student Advantage, he co-founded Transaction Service Providers, Inc., (TSP) the Hanover, NH, company that developed and managed a fully-functional off-campus merchant program later merged into Dartmouth College's campus card program. He developed the electronic transaction processing system that supported over 50 merchants in Hanover, and managed the integration of TSP's operations with Dartmouth's.
